Last updated: October 8, 2026. This policy describes how the SCP Exam app ("the app"), made by Neva.RX ("we"), handles information. The app is free and supported by ads. It is not intended for children under 13.
Your settings, your consent choice and a copy of your game progress are stored on your device.
The app works without signing in. It then asks our server for an anonymous access token and the quiz catalogue. No name or email is involved.
If you sign in with Google or VK, our server receives the sign-in token from that provider and stores your provider identifier, your name, your avatar link and, if the provider gives it, your email. We use them to recognise you on another device, to keep your progress, coins and purchases in the cloud, and to show you on the leaderboard. Your name and avatar are visible to other players on the leaderboard. We also store your game activity: answered levels, hints used, ads watched and purchases, so that progress and coins can be restored.
If you accept on the first screen, the app sends usage statistics and crash reports to Yandex AppMetrica: device model, system and app version, screens opened, crash data, your advertising identifier and IP address. If you decline, nothing is sent; the app works the same. You can change the choice in Settings at any time.
The app shows ads from Yandex Mobile Ads (full-screen and rewarded video, no banners). The ad service receives your advertising identifier, IP address and device and ad-interaction data. Ads are personalised only if you gave consent; otherwise they are not personalised. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your phone's settings.
Coin packs and "no ads" are bought through RuStore. RuStore handles the payment under its own policy. Our server receives the product, purchase and invoice identifiers to credit your purchase. We never see your card details. The Google Play version sells nothing.
We do not sell your data. It goes only to the services named above, which process it for us or for their own stated purposes: Yandex (AppMetrica, Yandex Mobile Ads), Google or VK (sign-in), RuStore (payments).
We keep your account data while the account exists. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account). This removes your profile, progress, transactions and leaderboard entry from our server straight away. If you no longer have the app, ask us at neva.spb.rx@gmail.com or on the account deletion page; we delete the account once we have confirmed it is yours, normally within 30 days.
Records of store purchases (product, purchase and invoice identifiers, time) are kept after deletion, with no link to you. They only prevent the same purchase from being credited twice. The payment itself stays with RuStore under its own policy.
Data travels over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The app is not intended for anyone under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy; the new version will be posted here.
